Dear fellow LVDC’ers.
Well, what a rollercoaster have the past 12 months been. From not being able to do any diving, dive training or social events to a few dives over the summer and online training to going back in the water from April!!!!
It looks like we are able to dive with maximum six people in April. That is a number that works on our boat, but not in a caravan. So for the near future we are planning one day dives on the south coast. At the moment it looks likely that Littlehampton will be the launching site for our first sea dive. Easy diving and easy launching and retrieving. More adventurous diving will follow later in the year.
BUT!
Since a lot of members have not been in the water at all last year, it is very wise and almost mandatory for them to test their kit at an inland site. Wraysbury and Gildenburgh are closed at the moment but as soon as they open we need to go there and get ready for the dive season.
So dust your dive kit off, order some new bits online and wait for the word GO!
See you soon at the waters edge!
